Overview

The position is responsible for the organization and coordination of major corporate projects as well as analytical support to the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Management. This person will coordinate and organize various due diligence requests relative to coordination of various cost savings initiatives and related reporting. This person will also be responsible for corporate financial planning, forecasting and the preparation of various presentations to the Board of Directors and other constituencies. The Director Financial Planning & Analysis will have frequent contact with all levels of the Finance organization, Senior Management and Operations Management.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Corporate FP&A

- Develop and maintain the annual financial & operating plan, long term strategic plan and financial forecast model. Lead a structured financial forecasting and planning process.

- Develop and lead capital budgeting exercise.

- Develop and maintain monthly consolidated corporate reporting package including consolidated financial statements and analysis of key performance indicators.

- Analyzes financial statements with management, recommends action and participates in strategic financial planning

- Ability to Influence and persuade different stakeholders across functional domains.

- Provide MIS support to business leaders, ensuring achievement of financial and operating targets

- Prepare ad hoc analyses for CFO and other senior management team members

- Implement activity based costing methodology.

- Develop and run the Finance Business Partner program including leading & managing the team of Finance BPs.

- Provide financial counsel in determining feasibility and business impact of new proposals/initiatives on revenue and profitability.

- Lead system enhancement projects that results in reporting and analysis efficiencies

Shared Services FP&A delivery

- Lead and manage a team of 30-35 finance professionals (5 to 7 direct reports)

- Implements and maintains development plans (to include mentoring, coaching and developmental assignments) for direct and indirect reports to ensure knowledge capture, business continuity and effective succession planning.

- Monitor transitions and SLA achievements.

- Effectively coordinate with US based stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Troubleshoot and support teams. Ability to develop team members.

Prerequisites-essential:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

- 12+ years of financial analysis experience with increasing finance management responsibilities in a global organization.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

- Experience in project management, establishing business systems and process improvements.

- Ability to synthesize large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers

- Experience with tier-1 financial systems such as Oracle, Lawson, etc.

- Excellent MS Excel and Report Writing skills (Hyperion knowledge is must)

Prerequisites-preferred:

- CA/ MBA preferred.

- Financial modeling experience.

- Experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred.
