Job Description:
- Leading the FP&A function for the group
- Supporting CEO/Business Heads and CFO with strategic analysis and insights - ongoing/ad hoc
- Pricing and profitability analysis support to commercial decision making
- Analysing and reporting monthly financial performance with executive and granular commentary
- Creating the financial plan/rolling updates
- Creating/contributing to the board documents as appropriate (Finance related)
- Cost and productivity analysis
- Working with and providing leadership to Business Heads / Vertical Heads and Tower Heads as the link between Finance and Delivery Teams on all finance processes
- Reviewing customer and vendor contracts from a finance point of view
- As appropriate, lead or support various Board initiatives/investor presentations/related communication
- Managing appropriate risk management framework and controls around areas of responsibility
- Participating in various Finance improvement projects. Actively contributes to realizing process improvements
- Understanding financial operating systems and tools. Accountable for the quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in accounting and related systems. Work towards harmonizing analytics and reports.
- Providing guidance to financial and non-financial stakeholders on Finance and commercial matters
- Prepares, attends, minutes and keeps track of follow ups regarding performance and strategy meetings.
- Takes initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of his/her relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional & technical knowledge
- Be a mentor to the team members and develop an atmosphere of trust and openness. Member of Finance leadership team, coach and mentor junior staff
Profile Description:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study.CA/CPA/ICWAI/MBA Finance (IIM/ISB or similar institutes) preferred.
- 12+ years' work experience
- Core experience in financial planning, preferably for IT and BPO company
- Has worked in high intensity start-up environments - Very flexible. Can run very hard and work at speed
- Experience of handling senior stakeholders like Group CEO/CIO etc
- Experience of multitasking as role with have many priorities coming together
- Highly independent / capable of delivering results on their own / ownership mentality
- Deep understanding of B2B SAAS business models
- Preferably have seen enterprise SAAS business scale from a few million ACV and beyond
- Tremendous amount of modelling skill and accuracy
- In addition to possessing a solid foundation in FP&A, will have covered at least 2 of the following in depth - controllership, treasury, M&A or tax
