Job Description - The job entails heading a large actuarial team to complete various projects in modeling, valuation, pricing for various clients which the consulting firm works for

Client Details :

- The client is a consulting firm based out of Delhi who has large client based out of Indian, US

- Apart from Insurance, they work in various other industry as well

Description :

- Minimum 8 years' of actuarial experience in life insurance.

- Should be an Fellow/ Qualified actuary of IFoA, SoA or IAI.

- Experience of working in international markets such as US, UK is preferred. Good working knowledge of PBR, LDTI, IFRS17, Solvency II is mandatory.

- Must have exposure in actuarial modeling, model testing & validation.

- Must have exposure to at-lest one actuarial software such as MG-Alfa, GGY Axis, Prophet. Experience in Python, R, Matlab is desirable but not mandatory.

- Advanced life insurance and actuarial knowledge, strong technical, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, effective communicator to superiors, peers and subordinate, good command of the English language, demonstrated leadership qualities.

- Must contribution towards new business development such as assessing pain areas for our clients, generating solutions for clients

- Assist in learning and development of team members

- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines

Profile :

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences.

- Affiliation to IAI, SoA or IFOA. Preferably fellow or a qualified associate actuary.

- At least 8+ years' experience, with good understanding of Life products - pricing, modeling, Model testing and valuation

- Exposure to US life insurance market is preferable.

- Experience of working in international markets such as US, UK is preferred. Good working knowledge of PBR, LDTI, IFRS17, Solvency II is mandatory.

- Is able to understand cross-cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
