Head - Financial Institutions - Banking (15-20 yrs)

Head of FI

Financial Institutions:

Exclusively Handling existing FI & Bank relationships and acquisition of new relationships to set up limits for the following business areas

1. FX

2. Money Market/Term Deposit

3. Trade Finance

4. Any other business area in focus

- RMA exchange with Banks in Region bank Products like Finline & Remittances - nostros

- Limits for different product lines

- Assisting HO and sister Banks for deals in the region

- Escalation of pending approvals

Limit requests introduction in PEGA

Access to Zeus for limit status

Currently handling

Trade Finance:

- Issuance of CG (Counter-guarantee) Corporate Guarantee /BG (Bank Guarantee)

Facilitating BG placement ;

- Internal follow up for issuance;

- Fee negotiation and payment with Banks;

- Interaction with Trade Finance department for references and limit allocation.

Escalations at the TF conference held biannually

Dealing:

Handling 3 asset classes for debt placement:

- Money market;

- Treasury Bills;

- Bank deposits;

- FX dealing with associate // clearing bank // settlement bank;

- Escalation when funds not reached in time;

Coordination of nostro for each deal;
