Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of our 300+ bed hospital in Delhi.
This role requires a dynamic leader who will manage the hospital's Profit & Loss (P&L), implement robust financial strategies, ensure compliance, and provide critical financial insights to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee and manage the hospital's complete financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Drive profitability by closely monitoring the P&L, optimizing costs, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and controls to ensure efficiency and transparency.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the hospital's long-term objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax laws and healthcare-specific financial regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing accurate and timely financial data.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build capacity within the team for robust financial management and process automation.
Stakeholder Management:
- Provide financial reports and insights to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Act as a key advisor on financial performance and investment opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: CA/CMA/MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with a 200+ bed hospital, will be a significant advantage.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations, P&L management, and revenue cycle management.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
