Head - Finance & Strategy - Insurance (13-17 yrs)
Company : One of the top 10 organisation in Insurance Industry.
Role: Leadership role, looking for someone well versed in Finance and Strategy, Compensation Distribution.(exposure in retail sales will be an added advantage.)
Industry : Open to look at people from Financial Services background or Consulting in any financial services, Banking or Insurance.
- Develop framework and infrastructure for research required to support Distribution strategy formulation.
- Develop, pursue and follow through on Integrated Acquisition Strategy for Distribution in conjunction with Marketing & Products
- Validate strategic initiatives proposed by Channel Heads to establish operational feasibility and benefits vs. cost.
- Assist in presenting the Strategy to Management Team, Board to ensure that the distribution strategy is fact based and robust.
- Organize Distribution Council with objectives of enhanced cross functional cohesion for supporting channel leaders
Operational Management :
- Assign resources to each initiative, establish timelines, review progress.
- Conceptualise and design process covering all aspects of Distribution operations (like compensation and schemes and policy for agents and sales management employees, agent licensing and contracting) including turnaround time standards and SLAs.
- Develop framework for Sales promotion viz. Contests & Events to achieve desired objectives within approved budgets
- Oversight on Agent Engagement program for enhanced utilization, expedient TATs, satisfaction scores,
- Lead Special projects through cross functional teams
Performance Assessment :
- Identify business drivers to be tracked for aiding Channel heads assess overall business performance and initiate correction plans
- Develop models for assessing profitability of distribution channels and develop ongoing track in order to facilitate decision making on Distribution issues via facts and useful analysis.
Systems and Technology :
- Define technological requirements and align with the IT Team.
- Lead the articulation of desired functionalities on behalf of the Distribution team.
- Provide inputs on the choice of technology skeleton, selection of vendors etc
Audit & Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and governance requirements.
