Head of Finance Experience- 5-10 years of experience Work Location Bangalore Qualification Engineering background ,CA CFA level MBA Key skills : start up experience , treasury , dealing with lender, funder raising , M&A ,costing, Mgt skills &amp; stake holders Job Description As a Manager Business Finance, your role is very critical to the organisation as you will be driving and identifying the gaps in the P&amp;L of a Business unit basically directly impacting the organization revenue and growth on company strategic growth &amp; investor relationship Mgt KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - To work closely with the business unit and actively participate in its operations and management - To develop financial plans along with various business and technology teams with rigour on bottom's up approach - To track and measure key financials and business metrics - To review month-end account closures, procedures, and corrections as needed - Directs and oversees the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of the revenue cycle activities to optimise operations - Conduct periodic meetings with direct reports to assure staff understand assigned tasks and can manage time constraints - Review the plans vs actuals on a regular basis, in-depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling planning of actionable - Handle Ad-hoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time - Participate &amp; Drive standardisation automation projects for process efficiency The Roles Expectations : - Investor Management Responsible for Strategic Planning and building KPIs for Business - Budgeting &amp; forecasting - Responsible for P&amp;L delivery across verticals - MIS preparation and reporting to Board of Directors/ Investors - Setting up Accounting Processes and Building ancillary systems for billing, transaction reconciliation etc - Oversee day to day accounting &amp; compliances Financial Planning, Reporting and supporting senior management - Competition Benchmarking Tax Planning and optimization - Building Cost effective systems for Optimization, Problem solving across verticals - Driving Cost Management Projects (Cross Functional and otherwise) - Driving revenue &amp; profitability - Due diligence of compliance &amp; accounting policies internal audits - Working capital and wealth management The Successful Applicant As an ideal candidate, you are a qualified Engineering background with CA or a Tier-1 MBA with 6+ years of experience in start up , R&amp;D Company , Financial Planning &amp; Analysis.
