Head - Finance Services - Shared Accounting Services Centre (8-20 yrs)

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a candidate to lead Finance Services. The candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Finance Shared Accounting Services Centre as well as for the definition and execution of the migration plans of activities.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide finance and accounting services to company's businesses

- Provide high-quality low-cost transaction processing

- Develop financial analysis and reporting capabilities to increase - value add

- Be a key customer for the AX platform (driving improvements in functionality)

- Setting clear strategic objectives for the SSC in conjunction with the Group Finance team

- Setting policies that the SSC will be working towards, and ensuring the SSC meets all statutory reporting requirements - implement necessary processes and controls to ensure full adherence to applicable accounting principles as well as to companies- processes and Procedures

- Ensure proper management of the services provided by the SSC, including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Vendor Management, Bank Accounting and Reconciliation, Asset Accounting, Intercompany posting, Management reporting and Expense claims validations

- Negotiate Service Level Agreements and Performance Targets, for the Centre to meet.

- Ensuring processes are consistent and efficient across the SSC, and look at ways to automate and make improvements where required

- Leading the SSC, and managing the management team within it ensuring highest levels of performance and engagement. Ensuring that there is always growth potential for individuals and that personal development objectives are met.

- Define and implement annual migration plans in close consultation with the controllers of the legal various legal entities, this includes the management of the entire process of migration planning (as is, to be, gap analysis, actions, monitoring) and migration execution (parallel run, shortfall identification, solution implementation) until the final go live

- Ensure service delivered is of the highest standard

- Contribute to the development of overall company strategy and ensure the SST is providing the level of capability and delivery required by a growing organization

- Driving finance compliance and best practices across the business
