Head Finance | Retail Industry (Start-up) | Leadership Role | Bangalore

Role: Head - Finance

Industry: Retail, FMCG, CPG, Fashion/Apparel

Experience: 10-18 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions

- Delivering Profitability, monthly P&L and Cash flows in line with the budgets and ensuring that the cost lines are under the controlled parameters.

- Provide strategic inputs to the leadership team on cost optimization, risk management, and long-term investments

- Oversee working capital management, fund flow, and financial controls

- Work closely with business heads to improve P&L performance

- Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and MIS for stakeholders

- Drive commercial audit closures in a timely manner to strengthen the SOP and processes resulting in improved Internal audit scores.

- Responsible and answerable for end-to-end monitoring of reconciliations and receivables.

What Were Looking For:

- Qualified CA or MBA Finance (premier B-schools) with 12-18 years of relevant experience in Retail industry.

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and corporate finance

- Proven ability to manage multi-unit retail operations finance

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

- Hands-on experience in ERP systems.
