- Heading finance & accounts function involving determining financial objectives, implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.

- Administering the management of books of accounts, inclusive of P&L account, Balance sheet and Trial balance, FAR with the periodical closures & completion of audit thereof, routine monitoring of cash flows.

- Handling the monthly/quarterly/HY/Annual financial closures of all 3 entities and timely circulation/retrieval of MIS to senior management & further needful discussion for adoption of results thereof.

- Developing/Rolling out accounting policies including revenue recognition, power purchase cost, insurance accounting etc, targeting the development of overall accounting manual for the organization.

- Commercial analysis along with purchase team of bids/tenders to explore the optimum cost alternative.

- Liabilities management by introduction of KPIs for accruals and vendor ledgers.

- Management of Audits including Internal/Statutory/Cost/GST/Independent/AG and management representations.

- Management of Funds & Cashflows, Banks Liaison, Stakeholder management etc.

- Implementation of various regulatory orders related to billing & other commercial aspects.

- Development of various MIS of finance function to ensure the quality reporting and regular watch over state of affairs which require the change in reporting standards.

- Implementation of SOP's and tweaking of same for better control over state of affairs.

- Management of commercial function for ensuring the better efficiency in working of the team.

- Management of overall business plan including determination of targets, operative measures to achieve, cost/course control/correction for management of variances leading to restructured outrun plan to achieve the targets.

- Ensuring compliance among the Statutory and Regulatory frameworks including taxation applicable within industry.

- Management reporting, Budgeting, Opex Optimization, settlement of litigious issues with Discom.

- Decision making for issues integral with internal working of finance function
