Head - Finance

Responsibilities:

1. Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, Internal Audit, Compliance, HR and Risk Management functions. CA as qualification

2. Organize and facilitate board meetings. Reporting to the Governing Board or a subcommittee of the Board and Country Director / Managing Director on financial, budgeting, internal control, audit and risk management issues.

3. Design and implement comprehensive, efficient and effective budgeting and forecasting process.

4. Have experience in Finance transformation projects and system implementation. Develop, strengthen and implement an effective financial management system, including policy manuals, financial analysis and reporting.

5. Conduct and manage Statutory Audit, Donor Audit and Internal Audit of International Non Government Organisations (NGO).

6. Support Development Team in proposal development, raising funds and reporting back to the donor

8. Support Development Team in proposal development, raising funds and reporting back to the donor.

9. Manage hiring, onboarding, training, performance management system and other organizational development activities.

10. Business risk management and strengthening internal control and compliance environment.

11. Compliance with the grant requirements of prominent international and domestic donors.

12. Legal and regulatory compliance with the requirements of Income Tax Act, FCRA, Companies Act, Service Tax and labour laws

13. Training and capacity building of staff and partner organisations.
