Head - Finance - Manufacturing Firm (12-20 yrs)
Company Profile: Our client is an established, reputed, leading, manufacturing mid-sized organisation (part of a large & prestigious group) and having operations in the entire Gulf area. The company is a listed company. They are seeking to recruit a Head-Finance to manage the function. Will report to the CEO and lead a large team (around 15#). Our clients offer excellent salary/perks as per industry norms & commensurate with experience. Family status visa and annual paid leave passage for self & immediate family will be provided with 30-days annual paid leave.
Interviews are scheduled around early August and the position is expected to be closed by mid to end-July.
Job Profile Will head the function and lead a team of 15. Will have full decision making authority within the context of budget and priorities agreed with CEO.
KRAs
1. Providing leadership and direction to the accounting and Finance team
2. Managing Company's financial planning, management of financial risks, financial reporting and analysis of data to give suitable feedback and guidance to the executive management.
3. To work efficiently as a board secretary and to coordinate with committees and members of board
4. Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements, MIS and supporting documents for presentation to management and board of directors
5. Develop and monitor annual budget for every department
6. Manage receivable functions, insurance carriers and financial service providers and also Accounts payable functions, licenses, taxes, lease etc.
7. Oversee Payroll function assuring compliance to pay and staffing guidelines.
8. Oversee banking and investment relationships
9. Coordinate with internal and external Audit team
10. Liaison with the Company's outside legal counsel as required
11. Overall Admin of the Factory and offices in terms of cash management, expense management, debt Payments, investments, accounts reconciliations, reporting and liaison with outside tax counsel
12. To lead IT functions of the company
13. To drive effective cost control across the company.
Candidate Profile CA (preferably CS) aged 40-50 with 12-20 years experience in a manufacturing organisation. Should have experience of working as Head of Finance for at least 10 years in manufacturing set-up. Candidate having experience of working in a listed company and having handled board secretarial will be desirable. Working Experience in GCC will be preferred
