Head - Finance

Job Profile :

- Directly responsible for financial accounting, audit, risk, taxation, treasury and statutory compliances preparation of financial statements and statutory audit.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budget with various departments, financial forecasts, and report variances. Ensure minimal deviations and appropriate reporting of the same.

- Ability to build controls and governance within the organization with a robust framework encompassing all departments & functions.

- Lead strategic and financial plan charting business, setting targets, driving allocation of resources and supporting strategic initiatives through analytics and business planning.

- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of financials- Balance sheet, P&L, Cash Flow statements

- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures

- Compliances for direct and indirect tax requirements, GST, secretarial, legal and other statutory compliances.

- Systems & Processes would be an integral part of the role; ability to set up systems and establish robust and scalable processes with the appropriate risk mitigation to be put into place.

- Oversee all Treasury, Taxation, Audit and regulatory compliance issues.

- Manage the expectations of the stakeholders through providing them monthly MIS, accounts, cash flows statements, and legal compliance reports.

Candidate Profile :

- A Chartered accountant with 8-10 years of experience is a must for this role

- Incumbent should have worked in a retail sector with tight timelines, complex supply chains and products with low shelf life.

- Ability to work in aggressively growing environments.

- Good communication skills and ability to represent the organization externally.

- Should have experience of working closely with the business teams
