Head - Finance - Consumer Retail Business

Our client is a leading retail organization seeking an experienced Head of Business Finance to drive financial planning, deliver strategic insights, and partner with business leaders to achieve organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to analyze and manage financial performance, and collaborate across functions to develop financially sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial planning, including revenue, margin, and discount forecasts aligned with business goals.

- Identify risks and opportunities within financial plans, recommending actions to optimize performance.

- Oversee expense forecasting and manage P&L through trend analysis and KPIs.

- Provide daily financial updates to senior leadership for timely decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business performance and support strategic initiatives.

- Develop business cases for non-BAU expenses and investment opportunities.

- Conduct variance analysis and implement cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability.

- Design and automate financial dashboards for efficient KPI tracking and reporting.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all financial matters.
