Head - Finance - CA/CS - IT

Job Description :

The Head of Finance (India) role will be based in Bangalore, with functional reporting to the Group CFO/CAO and site reporting to Site President. The key responsibilities shall be the following :

1. Managing the overall finance, accounts, tax and compliance function of the India based legal entity

2. Liaising with internal and statutory auditors and finalization of audits as per the statutory timelines

3. Overseeing various financial operations including tax, regulatory reporting and compliance, insurance, cash management, internal audit, and financial planning and analysis

4. Developing, managing and tracking budgets and forecasts

5. Managing transfer pricing arrangements, tax assessments, IP capitalization

6. Working with the US based corporate finance team to ensure analysis of transactions and application of accounting policies and guidance are consistently executed

7. Liaising between various departments/teams at the legal entity level as well as with the affiliates & corporate level

8. Partnering with the business to facilitate overall business growth and better performance

9. Perform secretarial functions and be signatory to the local GAAP financials

10. Managing legal and contractual reviews

11. Establishing processes to support the controllership for US based affiliates/ group companies

12. Leading and managing a team to deliver all the above

The successful applicant should :

1. Be a Chartered Accountant with 12+ years of accounting & reporting experience

2. Be a qualified Company Secretary

3. Have experience in financial services firms or IP based technology companies

4. Have strong domain knowledge of International Accounting Standards - India & USGAAP

5. Have exposure to ERP systems

6. Have the ability to prioritise and multiple task in a fast-paced environment

7. Be a leader and a good team player
