Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
- Provide financial forecasts, budgeting, and financial planning, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
- Advise senior management on long-term business and financial planning.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
Budget Management:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including setting guidelines and timelines.
- Monitor and manage budgets across departments, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, interest rates, and credit risks.
- Ensure effective internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for the company's operations.
- Optimize capital structure and working capital to support business activities.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax laws, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to finance professionals within the team.
Investment Management:
- Evaluate investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital expenditures.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary financial spokesperson for the company.
- Communicate financial performance, strategy, and risks to the board, investors, and other stakeholders.
Technology and Process Improvement:
- Drive the implementation of financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously improve financial processes and workflows to support business growth.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA certification preferred.
