Head - Finance - BFSI - CA

Looking for a candidate who is a CA with 15 -20 yrs of experience in managing end to end finance activities of a sizeable company.

Planning and Strategizing

- Support finalization of the annual business plan along with the management committee

- Improve the financial capacity in terms of ability to raise finances

- Identify opportunities for minimizing the cost of finance operations through the creation of shared services etc.

- Provide inputs to strategic planning and management committee on evaluation of growth opportunities

Finance & Accounts and Audits :

- Formulating and implementing sound financial management, strategies, and systems that ensure effective control and accountability of the Authority resources

- Assisting the Director in providing leadership in the implementation of the corporate strategic plan and achievement of performance targets.

- Initiate and guide the preparation of forecasts of company revenue, working capital, expenditure and return on investments

- Compliance, Audit & Financial Controls 

- Ensure that internal controls are effective, the main contact for all offices and locations for operations relating issues

Direct & Indirect Tax:

- Monitoring and Implementing the correct process for GST

- Timely filling of GST as required by the system

- Address all queries raised in respect of GST returns submitted and liaise with line Managers accordingly.

- Presenting GST related audit findings/ recommendations to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.

Treasury, Forex Accounting and Banking :

- Liasioning and negotiating with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities to meet working capital and project requirements.

- Deploying Forex hedging strategies to mitigate the risk of adverse currency movements and Forex Liabilities & Forex management.

MIS and Budgeting :

- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine a difference between projected figures & actual expenditure and implementing corrective actions.
