Head - Finance & Accounts - Manufacturing Firm

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Finance Head to lead the financial function of our rapidly growing packaging startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, business finance, budgeting, cash flow management, investor relations, and financial reporting. This role demands a hands-on approach to establishing robust financial processes, optimizing costs, and ensuring the company is financially positioned for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance & Business Planning:

- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and drive profitability.

- Build financial models to support business expansion, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.

- Identify and implement cost-optimization measures across operations.

Budgeting & Financial Control:

- Prepare, monitor, and manage the annual budget and forecasts.

- Establish internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.

- Ensure efficient allocation of capital and operational expenditure.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.

- Optimize inventory and receivables management to support business operations.

- Develop strategies for cost-effective procurement and vendor negotiations.

Fundraising & Investor Relations:

- Engage with investors, lenders, and stakeholders for fundraising and financial partnerships.

- Prepare investment proposals and financial presentations for potential investors.

- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure credit facilities.

Accounting, Compliance & Taxation:

- Oversee financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.

- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, including GST, income tax, and other financial regulations.

- Work closely with external auditors and legal advisors to ensure financial transparency.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: CA/CPA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

- Experience: 10+ years in finance leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, or a high-growth startup.

- Strong knowledge of financial planning, cash flow management, and cost

optimization.

- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence.

- Hands-on experience with financial tools and ERP systems.
