Position : Head - Finance & Accounts

Location : Chennai

Leadership position responsible for all facets of Finance & Core Accounting

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

- Serving as a pivotal member of the senior management team responsible for the formulation of the overall organizational strategy and short term / long term business plans

- Ensuring the robustness of accounting systems, so that, Statutory, Accounting and Financial records, are maintained for the company as per Statutory norms

- To effectively manage the Taxation Function (direct tax and indirect tax) of the company with a view to minimizing tax risks and consequent P&L impact.

- Strengthen the finance & accounts team that helps provide seamless and timely support to the business

- To be familiar with RBI guidelines and compliance on NBFC

- Well versed and ensure compliance to Indian GAAP, Accounting Standards and Guidelines

- Monthly review of Balance Sheet schedule, Variance analysis of all accounts month on month and finding the gaps

Requirements :

- Should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with about 9 to 11 years relevant experience in the NBFC / Banking sector

- Should be from a listed company and working in Corporate Accounting

- Should have Core & applied knowledge of Accounting and well versed with Books of Accounts

- Strong understanding of Management Reporting,Budgeting Process & Schedules

Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong Analytical and Organizational skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), Outlook & Visio

- The competence to lead, motivate and manage the entire accounting division.
