Head - Finance and Accounts

- We are looking for a results-driven and confident financial controller to manage and improve our organization financial performance and direct our accounting operations.

- Duties for the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

What you'll do :

- Overseeing and preparing income statements

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, subsidiaries, cost etc.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

- Research technical accounting issues for compliances

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Manage day to day accounting function and build out the team as we scale

- Cashflow ; Manage payments and cash flow forecasting to optimise and meet regularly with CEO to discuss this

- Estimate the runway based on the projected expenses and financial planning

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Participating in budgeting processes

What we're looking for :

- Masters degree in accounting or equivalent / Qualified CA

- Proven experience in finance management

- Good communication skills

- Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills

- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals

- Auditing experience and Compliance oriented

- Proficiency in accounting software
