Head - Finance & Accounts - Engineering Major

We're hiring Finance and Accounts Head for an over $10 Billion Engineering Major.

Desired Profile :

1.Qualification : CA - add-on qualifications like ICWA & CS will be preferred.

2. Experience :

- Minimum 20 / 25 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Should include 10+ years of experience in leadership role at the corporate/group level in financial reporting, preferably in large multi-divisional project & manufacturing companies with a sizable number of subsidiaries

- Expert knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and working knowledge of IFRS.

3. Age: 45-50

4. Will report to the VP - Corporate Accounts and assume a lead role in the financial accounting and reporting at the corporate/group level.

- Will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all accounting-related activities of the company.

5. Able to liaise effectively with senior management to ensure effective communications related to financial performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead, manage & control the group Finance & Accounts function

2. Provide improved decision support to Business

3. Strengthening the Risk management framework & processes

4. Ensuring complete preparedness for migration to Ind-AS, New Schedule VI, GST, DTC & XBRL regimes

5. Efficiency in resource management and maximizing return on invested capital in S&A Companies

6. Facilitate implementation of customized S&T (Strategy & Tactics ) Tree (as per the TOC principles)

7. Provide direction / guidance for up-gradation / migration of ERP system

8. Provide direction / guidance and opportunities for development of employees

1. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.

2. Strong analytical / problem solving / creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

3. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of result-orientation.

4. Track all the major forthcoming changes in financial reporting and send comments to Indian and international standard setting bodies. Present industry perspective on accounting norms in various prestigious forum.

5. Strong functional skills in the area of Financial and Management accounting.

Other Skills & Abilities:

6. PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and strong working knowledge of ERP Packages like SAP is preferred.
