Head Finance & Accounts - Consumer Durable (12 -18 yrs)

Location : Bangladesh

Job Description :

1. Corporate Finance

- Ensure proper maintenance of all financial ledgers for the day-to-day operations of the unit.

- Manage the banking relationship for the business and working capital management.

2. Preparation of Quarterly/Annual Financial Results of the Bangladesh Legal Entity

- Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

- Review and approve journal entries;

- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting;

- Coordinating activities like Fund Planning, Bill Passing, Sales Accounting, Factory Accounts, Debtors Accounting and Financial Budgeting

3. Taxation

- Compute indirect taxes & tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other direct tax requirements.

- Comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings

4. Budgeting and MIS

- Accurate Monthly MIS on factory wise SKU contribution. Is

- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice

5. Compliances

- Manage all local government compliances and ensure adherence to all regulations

- Managing all custom duty related matters on import of raw materials

Additional Responsibility

- Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

- Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.

- Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

- Work as Internal Revenue Service agents.

Requirement :

Education : Graduate + CA (Indian only)

Experience :

- 12 to 18 years experience in Finance & Accounts in FMCG, FMCD, also, Should have exposure to working ERP environment, working on SAP would be a added advantage.

- Should have managed a team handling complete factory accounts
