Job Role :

Position : Head - Finance & Accounts

Location : Mumbai, India

Reports To : Managing Director/Director Finance

Reason For Hire :

With the strong focus on growth and a positive outlook within the space, the organization would like to bring on board a senior finance professional who can support the management team, Board and other stakeholders on strategy and business finance matters.

- The Head - Finance & Accounts will take complete responsibility for the strategic, operational, and tactical aspects of the finance function, encompassing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, and monitoring and management of accounting, MIS, taxation and legal.

Qualifications And Experience :

Must Have's:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferably first attempt pass out) with 15 plus years of relevant post qualification experience in mid or large sized professionally run organizations with the last 3 plus years in a functional leadership role

- Demonstrated track record of having positively impacted gross margins using strong financial control and cost management measures

- Sound commercial acumen, debt management capabilities and strong risk management orientation

- In-depth experience in handling large volume transactions in a geographically spread and high transaction industry such as Retail, QSR, FMCG etc

- Strong experience of business finance including revenue assurance and budgeting with strong analytical and operating skills and intimate working knowledge of Indian accounting laws / statutory compliances

Preferable :

- Experience in a high growth / PE funded organization/ promoter driven company

- Prior experience in ERP implementation

- Mumbai based candidate
