Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and creative individual to join our company as the Head of Fashion Merchandising. As the Head of Fashion Merchandising, you will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies that align with our brand vision and drive business growth. You will lead a team of merchandising professionals, ensuring effective product assortment, inventory management, and visual merchandising across all our retail channels. This is a leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, trend awareness, and a keen eye for fashion.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement merchandising strategies :

- Collaborate with senior management to define the company's merchandising goals and objectives.

- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities and optimize product assortments.

- Create and execute strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.

- Establish pricing strategies that maximize revenue while remaining competitive in the market.

2. Lead merchandising team :

- Recruit, train, and manage a team of merchandising professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

- Delegate responsibilities, set clear objectives, and monitor progress to ensure timely execution of merchandising plans.

- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging teamwork and innovation.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth.

3. Manage product assortment :

- Oversee the selection and curation of product assortments, ensuring they align with the brand's image, target audience, and market demands.

- Work closely with designers, buyers, and vendors to identify and source new products that resonate with our customers.

- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make informed decisions regarding product mix, quantity, and variety.

4. Inventory management :

- Develop inventory strategies and systems to optimize stock levels and minimize stock outs and excess inventory.

- Monitor inventory turnover, sales velocity, and sell-through rates to identify underperforming products and take appropriate action.

- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely product replenishment and efficient logistics operations.

5. Presentation :

- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create visually appealing displays and store layouts that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

- Establish visual merchandising guidelines and standards across all retail channels.

- Monitor store presentations and provide guidance to ensure consistent adherence to visual merchandising standards.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/master's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in fashion merchandising, preferably in a leadership role.

- Strong understanding of the fashion industry, consumer behavior, and market trends.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data[1]driven decisions.

- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross[1]functional teams.

- Proficiency in merchandising software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
