Key Skills:

- Relevant experience of working in manufacturing industry handling liasioning, security and admin, preferably from Defence background.

- Planning and Execution, Leadership, Achievement Orientation, Communication, Analysis and problem Solving, Interface Skills, Customer Focus, Aligns to Change.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of security deployment plan

- Dealings with outsourcing agency for selection of right guards

- Selection and development of own Supervisory staff

- Keeping high morale of security team- ensuring full wages, dormitory accommodation

- Liaison with police and local administration in case of theft or any other untoward incidents

- Ensure proper upkeep of fire safety equipment and training of personnel to operate the same.

- Provide proper parking space - inside and outside

- SOPs/checklist on safety parameters

- Discipline of truckers and tank drivers

- Effective management of housekeeping and horticulture services

- Contracts renewal and overseeing contract labor

- Ensure green cover as per norms - maintain and update inventory of trees for compliance

- Landscaping for beautification of site

- Providing wholesome and hygienic food and services to employees in shifts

- Providing cost effective employee transport services in all shifts

- Providing and maintenance of furniture and fixtures at the plant

- Planning and organizing sports and other welfare activities along with others in HR

- Maintain high standards of upkeep at transit accommodation and company flats

- Ensure compliance with statutory and IMS - ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000 requirements in terms of contract labor and fire safety system

- Regular and proactive contact with the local community in terms of CSR work and dealing with their complaints and issues

- Ensuring effective liasioning with various Govt. departments and authorities.

- Maintaining relationships at maximum possible level, which has impact on business.

- Managing local business communication for the business - Press, Seminar, Industry representation etc.

- Ensuring timely licenses / permissions and their renewals

- Monitoring statutory compliance to above bodies, on a monthly basis & the report is submitted to the respective bodies.

- Manage activities of land allotment, building & construction, licensing, power arrangement etc.

- Project management: Managing all clearances / activities from approval to commissioning of new project like broad banding / Licenses / enhancement of power / drawing approval of new building and construction, licensing etc.

Background:

- Relevant experience of working in manufacturing industry handling liasioning, security and admin, preferably from Defence background.

- Candidate with defence background equivalent to Major rank will be considered. Short commissioned defence officer will also be considered.

Candidate must have at least 12-28 yrs experience of handling independent Security & Admin function of medium or large manufacturing set up.
