Job Description :
- The Head of Events will be responsible for the overall planning and delivery of Client's international events programming at commercial galleries and museum spaces.
- Client's events programme is pivotal to expanding their client base and achieving sales.
- The Head of Events will liaise closely with the Director of Marketing, and CEO as required, to ensure a comprehensive and targeted series of events takes place in a growing number of locations.
- The Head of Events will manage a team primarily based in Delhi.
- Work with key stakeholders internally to determine event requirements
- Budget for yearly event requirements, and work within tight budget
- Create a coherent planning process to deliver events for all locations, building strong internal relationships between events managers and departmental teams
- Co-ordinate for major events and oversee for smaller events all aspects of event planning and logistics including; site preparation and invitations; managing the invitation process alongside CRM department; negotiation of vendor contracts; co-ordination of logistical and audio visual requirements as necessary; on-site meeting management; logistics for speakers as required; manage compliance and internal audit requirements
- Deliver consistently high quality and appropriately targeted events, including onsite management and support at the event venue
- Develop and manage a small team of high performing event organisers
- Introduce and deliver best practice and innovation across the events team - increasing quality and providing a unique and memorable experience for clients
- Negotiate strategically important partnerships and sponsorship deals to offset some costs
- Develop and manage portfolio of entertainers to be used for significant events
- Provide or oversee event reporting, tracking and feedback management to support KPI delivery
- Manage any freelance and temporary resources necessary to deliver the events schedule
