Head - Environment/Safety/Governance - Infra/Capital Goods (10-20 yrs)

Roles and responsibility :

- Role holder shall drive and give direction for business leaders from ESG perspective. He shall drive initiatives of ESG, represent organization at right forums, ensure business decisions are based on ESG principles and bring a paradigm change in approaching for any investment (ongoing or new)

- Create strategic direction for ESG for next 4-5 years with clear focus on creating an ecosystem for driving sustainability solutions that includes (but not limited to) Environment & Social Action Plan (ESAP), Environment & Social Management Systems (ESMS), Resource Management like Water Footprint, GHG Management, Fuel Efficiency, Carbon Advisory etc.

- To evaluate Climate risks (physical, policy, secondary and market risks)

- To evaluate potential investment opportunities from ESG perspective

- To drive integration of ESG factors into the investor relations aspects

- To support & guide leadership team on proposed and operating assets in ESG sensitive sectors like rural infrastructure sector, social infrastructure sector to ensure compliance with the ESG framework (DFID) and Equator Principles / IFC Performance Standards

- To prepare annual, semi-annual and quarterly ESG reports for investors/Board

- Partner with Head - EHS to drive Health and Safety standards

Candidate Profile:

- Master's Degree in Engineering / MBA with 10+ years relevant work experience in infrastructure or capital goods industry (power, manufacturing etc).

- Relevant certifications

- Know-how of National & International standards & Frameworks- DFID, IFC, ADB, Equator, European Investment Bank, JBIC (J-MRV), GRI standards, GHG Protocol, NVG, AA1000AS

- Experience to develop and establish standard operating procedures

- Proven ability to present initiatives at large forums like FICCI, CII or the likes

- Computer Literacy MS Office, ERP (SAP), Analytics
