Job Description: Head Enterprise Sales

As an enterprise sales head, you will lead the Sales function of the company to empower its mission in India. Be part of the team that is on the path of creating India's leading real-time, coding solution platform

Responsibilities - Business Development:

- Prepare a Comprehensive Business Plan. Determine and assign sales targets and goals. Project and forecast annual and quarterly revenue for India

- Identify opportunities for growth, formulate business expansion strategies and develop sales strategies to acquire new clients

- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development and improvement ideas

-Establish a sales team to drive the company's growth and mission by aligning teams to the company's short and long term goals

- Track sales-team metrics and share them with company leadership

- Analyse data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps if any

- Manage key accounts and maintain long term relations with customers, by regular follow-ups, build and maintain relationships with clients

- Networking with senior-level contacts for better business development

- Prepare MIS and present business plans and progress to the senior management

- Collaborate with marketing team to develop Enterprise lead generation plans

- Prepare budgets and approve expenditures

- Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends

- Advance one's own professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and other educational training. Actively participate in professional societies and industry networks

Managing customer needs:

- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences

- Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service

- Provide expertise when setting and adjusting pricing plans and discount rates

- Provide advanced negotiation expertise

Managing people:

- Set targets, performance plans, and rigorous objective standards for Account Managers

- Meet with reps one-on-one to review performance, progress, and targets

- Deliver deep performance reviews for each individual account Manager on weekly/monthly

- Coach individual Account Managers one-on-one and prospecting help sessions to help them improve sales performance

- Develop a scalable sales process and ensure Managers adhere to it correctly

- Ensure that Managers use sales technologies, such as a CRM correctly

- Plan and implement training programs. Hold regular skills training sessions with internal or external sales trainers

- Hold team building events onsite or offsite

- Recruit, select, onboard, and train new Account Managers

- Motivate and engage the sales team with monetary and non-monetary (intrinsic) motivational tactics, such as sales contests, incentive packages, prizes, and public recognition

- Unite the team: ensure Managers work as a positive unit and share their best practices

- Set a good example for the team. Work according to company culture and values, prioritize ruthlessly, use all communication channels effectively, and deliver results effectively

Prior Experience and Qualifications:

- Must have 10-15 years of Post qualification experience with at least 5 yrs. in India/Global IT/ SaaS based solution Industry in working on developing and procuring large/multiple deals of about half million to one million $

- Must have New Business Development and Key accounts management experience with SaaS based businesses in devising sales strategies and proposing solutions as per customer requirements

- Would have managed relationships with CEO/COO/CTO level clients across IT industry

- Experience of working with high performance sales teams with regional presence in India

- MBA and Engineer from reputed Institutes with initial coding/related technology experience
