Head - Enterprise Data Architecture - NBFC

Urgent requirement for Leading NBFC as Head Enterprise Data Architecture in Mumbai.

- Creates a visionary architecture roadmap and organizational strategy to align Business and IT; leads and facilitates the design and implementation of technical solutions and processes related to technology architecture

- Defines the architecture principles, standards and guidelines regarding the proper use and deployment of business applications, data and technology within the company.

- Supports enterprise information requirements: design, access, usage and coordination of stewardship across the business to ensure an enterprise view and consistency.

- Supports enterprise-level strategies for the integration of enterprise information by supporting corporate standards for data architecture, format, quality, and database design.

- Implements conceptual/logical data models based on business processes and develops physical data models from logical models.

- Supports the design and implementation of relational databases, data warehouse, data mart, Epic Disease Registries and BOE Universe solutions as well as upholding the strategies for data acquisitions and database archival/recovery.

- Translates and delivers actionable, high-impact plans that improve data integration, data quality and data delivery in support of business initiatives and roadmaps to achieve results.

- Supports the implementation of standards and best practices involved in modeling, describing data entities and relationships, as well as supporting Metadata.

- Provides on-site and/or telephone support in accordance with organizational needs - in a periodic, rotating 24x7 on-call schedule.

- Creates and manages the various key architecture assets for the designated portfolio and scope

- Partners with broader stakeholders in technology and business in defining architecture possibilities and futures

- Ensures sound and robust architecture and provide sufficient guidance for the successful implementation of solutions to mitigate any negative impact on Technology and Enterprise budget.

- Identifies and researches relevant technologies perform Proof of Concepts / Prototypes, and recommends applications of such technologies to future product architectures

- Provides architectural expertise & domain knowledge to advise & guide senior leaders

- Actively leads data governance meetings (maybe as a non-voting member)

- Actively participates in setting technical direction of the styles of computing

- Bachelors' /Masters' degree from an accredited college/university in business related or technology related field.

- Have strong experience in heterogeneous technologies in DW space (map/reduce, columnar DBs etc.,).

- Strong knowledge on Kafka, Elastic Search, Apache Hive, Spark, Storm, MapReduce, Couchbase, Hadoop, and Cassandra.

- Expert with Data warehouse architectures, data modeling, and data processing using distributed computing solutions
