We are looking to fill Head of Engineering role with one of the early stage startup in Delhi/NCR. Role &amp; Responsibilities : - Responsible to architect and oversee the building of the entire technology platform for all aspects of the process, viz., credit application, credit review, automated decisioning, financial data-source integration, loan lifecycle management, data-driven learning algorithms to upscale the business across geographies. - Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company's services. Ensure &amp; lead technology roadmaps, designs, architecture and product lifecycle. - Establish and supervise the software development process, setting short-term objectives and assessing progress as defined by the selected software development methodology. - Collaborate with a User Experience Designer and potential customers to prepare wireframes or mock-ups of a prototype of the company's web application. - Review current best practices for the selected web framework and establish the initial architecture for the application. - Establish a specification conformance and testing regimen based on user stories and the User Experience design. - Work closely with Engineering, Product &amp; Data Science teams to review and evolve the engineering teams- KPIs that focus the teams on building great product that address productivity, efficiency, satisfaction and competitive differentiation. - Recruit, motivate, mentor and lead a high-calibre team on an ongoing basis Requirements : - 12 to 15 years of experience managing web application development. Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework. - Familiar with more than one software development methodology. A proven record in building innovative products at different technology platforms. - Should have experience Big Data, must have intimate experience with app development, as well as experience developing scalable products for consumers. - Has built team from scratch and worked on scalable products/consumer products. Expertise in full stack technologies and Big Data domain. - Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications. Should have experience in Product Development and building the architecture of the product. - Strong leadership ability with proven experience in leading critical projects and applications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in both technical and non-technical terms. Self-driven with strong adherence to deadlines and excellent analytical skills with premier education background.
