Head - Engineering Services - Analytics Firm (18-24 yrs)

The Head of Engineering Services shall provide leadership to all engineering activities that happen across the portfolio of accounts in the organisation.

- A typical leader is expected to be a team builder, who will create a cadre of highly capable, motivated engineers proficient with different tech stacks and cloud environments that our customers prefer to work upon.

- A thought leader to not just cater to the needs of today but also build the next set of capabilities - technical and non-technical - that will result in greater adoption of engineering services in existing and new accounts.

- To collaborate with the organizational leadership on the vision and translate the vision into an executable roadmap for the team. The leader will create a strategic direction for the group with engineering templates/blueprints that can be leveraged to deliver better quality outcomes faster.

- Given the dynamic nature of the world of tech, the leader shall work closely with the delivery teams to both consult them and pick up trends.

- As a true organization builder, we expect the leader to participate actively in campus recruitment, designing and monitoring the effectiveness of the training program for campus recruits. People empathy is a strong skill for the position - and the ability to coach, mentor and motivate a large engineering team.

- 18 years of experience in engineering and experience in leading engineering teams of large sizes, preferably in service functions serving multiple clients.

- Sound knowledge of cloud frameworks is essential along with a proven ability to design and deploy cloud-native applications.

- The leader should have solid familiarity across the dev stack and in DevOps and automation. The leader must be a hands-on technical person, ready to get into the weeds if required.
