Head - Engineering & NPD - Fastner Business (18-20 yrs)
Engineering and NPD Strategy
- Overall responsibility of engineering and NPD function.
- Create and implement best engineering practices and procedures in order to improve business performance.
- Ensuring that engineering strategy and process are in place to meet business objective and operation need in terms of quality and project completion on time.
- Providing technical support to business development and estimation of costing as per new business opportunities.
- Responsible of overseeing all aspect of engineering and NPD section from contract to handover a project to manufacturing team.
- Coordination with Manufacturing team and ensuring of product manufacturing as per quality standard and achieving cost target.
People management
- Providing coaching to the team and ensuring they are well trained in all aspect of engineering and NPD and enabling them to get achieve operational and departmental goal.
- Complete regular performance review of team in line with department objective and individual career plan.
- Inspire and Motivate team
Education B.E./B.Tech/Diploma(Mechanical)
Skills:
1. Good experience to leading engineering and NPD function in manufacturing sector.
2. Good technical knowledge of fastener processes and designing of components
3. Good Knowledge of Design techniques, APQP, FMEA, PPAP.
4. Project feasibility management skills
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
6. Proven leadership and management skills
