Education : BE (Mechanical/ Production/Industrial Engg),Desirable : MBA in Operations

Relevant Experience : 25 + years, in Auto/ Auto Component Industry (At least 5 years handling development of multi locational plants) in New Product Development.

Job Purpose: Standardisation of Engineering & NPD procedures, develop specialised capabilities for each process for One Group way across the plants to fulfil customer expectations.

Skills and capabilities required to execute the role:

1) Experience in NPD of Sheet Metal Components in Auto Industry.

2) Knowledge of latest Pressing, Welding and Surface Treatment technologies in the industry.

3) Knowledge of Industrial Engg practices like Layout planning, Ergonomics, Time Motion Studies, VA VE etc.

4) Good leader to lead multi locational teams, good IPR to work with various Operation Group Heads, good at resource management, Result oriented,Decision making.

5) Entrepreneurial mind set & Business acumen.

A. Support Sales & Marketing (S&M) in acquiring new business for growth.

B. Development of new products meeting customer requirements.

C. Create standard systems for One Group way of working.
