Head - Engineering - Mobile Apps - iOS & Android (14-20 yrs)
- Experience in building and leading mobile app development for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Managing Mobile app team
- Reports to Head of Technology
- Own, define and drive multiple concurrent charters for the core mobile app platform by building and maintaining shared libraries and frameworks used by various product teams for managing app config, networking, webviews, common UI, camera, notifications, analytics, image handling, integrity checks, and any other utilities required to build a mobile application that serves over 100M monthly active users.
- Lead and mentor a team consisting of some of the best mobile app engineers in the country.
- Help various engineering, product and business teams at create delightful and performant user experiences on top of the core platform by driving industry-standard engineering practices and new technical and UX innovations, aided by both thought and material leadership.
- Identify issues in product features, performance, architecture, scale and app size in existing implementations and technical solutions and work proactively to prioritise and fix them.
