Job Objective:

Keys Result Ares:

To lead engineering and related activities for bidding for new mines, operationalizing new mines and ensuring operations from existing mines

Roles & Responsibilities:

1) To ensure delivery of accurate engineering drawings and documents with primary emphasis on Accuracy, time and Efficiency

2) To form, motivate and sustain a team of aspiring, competent, agile and self driven engineering team capable to deliver and perform all engineering tasks within AEL or even outside, if so desired by Company

3) Engineering support to acquire MDO, BOO/ BOM coal washers and development of the same

4) Engineering support for participation in new Iron Ore, Diamond, Sand separation tenders and Development of Kurmitar iron ore MDO project

5) Manage and co-ordinate with QA/QC and Safety teams to ensure compliance to Quality and HSE policies and procedures during execution of projects

6) Identify, Record and Assess the requirement of newest technology and innovations, Quantify the cost implications, Agreement with all stakeholders and Implement the acceptable changes

7) To Build Adani Mining Brand as a responsible green, technology driven Miner through Technical Papers, Conferences and Seminar lectures

Keys Result Ares: Acquisition, Expansion and Development of new business lines in the field of Coal,

Iron ore mines, Coal washeries etc.

Outcomes: Supporting the business and commercial team with engineering design and inputs for optimum bidding and contracting

Key Result Areas: QA/ QC, HSE Design, Safety Engineering


- Ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for all projects

- Nil accidents and breakdowns

Key Result Area: Change Management in form of Induction of Technology and Innovations into Mining Business

Outcomes: Introducing and assimilating technology and innovation for optimum solution with a distinct competitive advantage


Project commisioning & closure

Key Result Area: Technical and Financial Closure of Projects

Outcomes: Conduct Project progress review, construction reviews, ensure financial control, identify punch points and resolving, conducting trial runs and commissioning for successful financial closure and handover of the plant to O&M team

Outcomes: Understanding and assimilating the concepts for digitization of pit to plant mining
