Head - Engineering - Manufacturing

Looking for Head- Engineering who'll be responsible for:

- Reporting to AP Engineering Director (solid line)

- Lead and Manage the FPC Engineering Team in India

- Responsible for product development, Test and prototypes functions, including design, development, technical program management, support to manufacturing sites, etc-

- Responsible for mechanical and future mechatronics products, as applicable

- Duly manage the engineering team respecting time, cost, quality of work

- Develop the team skills and abilities according to the global engineering organization needs

- To implement at engineering level the strategy of FPC with regards to business plan

- To support Program Management and Manufacturing division as needed

- To create budget for India FPC team (including CAPEX) and ensure fulfillment

- To ensure alignment in term of program development, product strategy, technology roadmap with FPC, CoEs and global organization in general

- To promote cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration of the engineering team; to ensure full integration of the team with into global organization and cross functional teams

- To uphold respect and fulfillment of company's procedures and rules, including (but not limited to) GPMS, GQS, Engineering procedures & processes & policies, international standards as relevant, etc-

- To ensure product information are stored and maintained in PLM

- To represent the company in front of the customer and support business development activities as required by company's strategy as appropriate; to attend to public events, fairs, exhibitions, suppliers- conferences etc as needed; to establish a network of contacts with major customers with regards to business acquisition, program execution and support through the products lifecycles.

Qualifications:

- 10 - years in automotive industry (powertrains)

- Worked in engineering or program management positions (supervisor role or higher)

- Experience with hydraulics and/or pneumatic pumps and circuits

- Experience with powertrain system (brake, lubrication and thermal management)

- Knows PTC/Crea, CATIA V6 and NX CAD systems; familiar with PLM/PDM systems (SAP, Siemens, PTC)

- Experienced with all product design and development methodologies of the automotive industry, including GD&T, FMEA, FTA, DFM, APQP, PPAP, DV, PV, etc-

- Knows and understands in depth ISO TS requirements and impact on the company

- Knowledgeable of CAE

- Proven experience of engineering project management with focus on customer interaction

- Experience with SAP
