Head - Engineering - IT (12-20 yrs)
Role & Responsibilities :
- Leadership and management responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the development team
- Responsible for overall system development life cycle
- Manage the day-to-day development operations liaising with the scrum master and senior developers.
- Mentor the development team and foster a culture of coloration, continuous learning and improvement
- Establish the Corporate Office internal delivery capability by recruiting top talent to ensure we deliver at speed, efficiently and quality.
Operations responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, report on and support the core organization's platform solution end to end
- Ensure standard operating procedures are effectively implemented according to schedule
- Ensure support is run efficiently and manage out of hours support roster
- Documentation of system procedures and supporting value chain processes
- Activate remedial action and plans for when things go wrong (security breach, critical system failure, etc)
- Ensure users, software licences, cloud assets are managed effectively.
- Evaluate and manage delivery partners
- Partake in independent security, compliance and due diligence reviews and ensure recommendations/action items are executed.
- Assist with the analysis of the costs, value, and risks of information technology
- Assist in the preparation of Business Cases and presentation to stakeholder's ,services delivery and implementation of IT strategy
- Support Business to translate business requirements for enhancements and bug fixes into the technical solutions and assist in the planning thereof accordingly.
Technical responsibilities:
- Oversee architectural decisions to align with the best practices in cloud computing architecture
- Oversee information architecture elements spanning across the application, data, and supporting technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
- Engage with security advisors to ensure security protocols are implemented
- Review and advise any modifications and enhancements to the Brisk cloud platform.
- Lead code and architectural review sessions
- Assist and advise the QA team
- Lead product release review process and the deployment thereof
- Enhance the current DevOps tools and development process to assist rapid scaling
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E/B.Tech- MCA/M.Tech from tier 1,tier 2 engineering college/universities with total 12+ years of experience in IT Industry
- At least 5 years' experience on the Microsoft technology stack including Visual Studio/Code, C#, .Net and .Net Core, SQL server, etc along with React or Angular front-end development with the ability to provide hands on technical advice to the team.
- Proven enterprise architecture experience, formal qualification a bonus
- Experience with IT governance and process development and implementation.
- Proven capability to draft technical documentation, technical specifications based on Functional and Business Requirement Specifications.
- Strong testing and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English and communication skills
- 5 years' experience working with teams in an Agile environment.
