Role title: Head of Engineering Location: Dubai Responsibilities: - Define the overall Technology stack - keeping in mind the business requirements as well as user experience - Work closely with Business and Product teams to define the Technology roadmap - till launch and post launch - Build the team to deliver Technology roadmap - skills needed and the talent profile. Actively drive the recruitment agenda - Ensure a seamless site experience - both for commerce as well as ongoing user engagement Skills/Background: - Proven Engineering leader with demonstrated track record of delivery in Consumer Internet Space - Good understanding of key programming languages as well as Databases; Experience in Cloud applications is a big plus - Good knowledge of iOS, Android development, Agile process, Scrum, Architecture and key operating systems
