Head - eCommerce - FMCG (7-10 yrs)

- The principle responsibilities of the role will be to manage all aspects of the company ecommerce.

- Operate on both a strategic and tactical level - planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of marketing programs and related projects.

- Use data, to discover and share powerful insights with the larger team, tackle problems as they arise, and regularly report on performance.

- Work with marketing team to develop e-commerce marketing plans that support customer acquisition and retention priorities. Develop & optimize eCommerce solutions across key brands and e-store.

- Ensure ongoing usability and website testing to ensure effective evolution of site design, content and functionality.

- Work with marketing team to increase the volume of high quality, qualified traffic to the website through best practice online marketing techniques.

- Maximise website conversion to meet agreed targets.

- Ensure business unit follows clear brand identity guidelines (once established) in all areas of e- commerce.

- Monitor competitor activity and recommend action to ensure we build and maintain a competitive position in e-commerce.

- Increase of customer retention through best practice email and CRM techniques.

- Employ a customer-centric approach, ensuring clarity, simplicity and effectiveness of communication in line with brand personality and objectives.

- Ensure fulfillments team is dispatching orders within agreed timelines. Work with logistics and sales operations to ensure product availability and provide detailed product level forecasts of demand.

- Ensure Returns Team are handling exchanges and returns in a timely manner.

- Plan, manage, and execute seasonal campaigns across eCommerce.

- Develop innovative online promotions that drive engagement and conversion.

- Responsibility for the E-Store revenue and profit targets.

- Create & support both strategy and tactical execution of online marketing campaigns across marketing channels including paid search, affiliate, shopping portals, and display media.

- Perform analysis and reporting on store statistics and campaigns and make actionable recommendations to refine programs.

- Build strong relationships with the team both locally and internationally to best meet company goals and objectives, build the corporate knowledge and experience in eCommerce.

- Regularly coordinate with key business stakeholders and outside agencies and partners as required.

- Manage projects and partnerships with key partners, such as 3rd party marketplaces like JD and T-mall. Online Marketing:

- to manage online advertising campaigns including creative briefing, implementation and analysis in conjunction with the external agency

- to manage all newsletters

- to manage ongoing online promotions

- to manage affiliates

- to manage third party promotions such as competitions and newsletter subscription incentives; grow the newsletter database with high quality leads

- to further drive/optimize social media activities including blogs, new social media e- commerce (FB, IG, etc.), Site development and Usability

- Conduct A/B tests to continuously improve site usability and conversion and to identify which layouts work best for our target group.
