Head - eCommerce (3-8 yrs)
- Deliver Revenue of Ecommerce Channel as a profit center head. Outpace industry on growth and increase contribution to business.
- Responsible for profitability of the channel & the Average Selling Price (This is also controlled & reviewed centrally by Alt Channel Head / Finance)
- Ensure dominant market share versus competition
- Manage/Negotiate Terms of Trade for Key customers
- Build and align the Joint Business Plans (JBP) and deliver the JBP objectives
- Build strong relationships and working models with new and existing customers
- Create Assortment strategy and optimal mix for the channel. Deliver on Pricing strategy & execution.
- Plan new products for Ecom along with Marketing and Alternate Channel head, meet customer expectations of consistent increase in ASP by product assortment optimization
- Drive market intelligence to identify market trends, customer preferences and competition activities to build and implement sales strategy
- Monthly planning and execution of Promotion and Visibility & alignment with customers as well as internal stakeholders (Marketing), Pre & post sales tracking & analysis of promotions effectiveness
- Keep track of stock holding of the e-tailers in terms of number of days as well as quality of stock, ensure correct PO execution, track & ensure availability
- Build and align POS plan with customers - tracking the same and ensuring the right inputs are planned to drive business
- Expanding Cello presence to new platforms / accounts
- Managing operations like Appointment, Dispatch and Inward confirmation along with Supply Chain team
- Work with commercial teams for financial hygiene (Collection, accounts reconciliation, settling of claims)
- Actively participate in Forecasting process and partner with Demand Planning Team to improve forecasting accuracy
- Ensure best-in-class content, relevant selection and availability in assigned Ecom platforms
- Network with Global Centre of Excellence on sharing and understanding global best practices in Ecom
- Own reporting of Ecom results and KPIs
- Responsible for Key Ecom performance metrics like :
- Daily run rate in units by platform
- Ranking of products
- SPARC scores
- Traffic and Glance views
- Competition mapping
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Proficient in Key Account Management, managing data, and leveraging insights to drive penetration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to get the job done single-handedly. Strong Analytical as well as Communication skills
- Desire and ability to think like the customer
- Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion
- Willing to take calculated risks to grow the category
- Stakeholders Management: Marketing Category heads, Sales, Marketing/Supply Chain/Finance Directors, Demand Planning Head, Supply team, Finance Team, Dispatch team, COE -ECOM , Trade Marketing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Management Graduate with at least 3 years' experience in dealing with Top Ecom customers like Amazon and Flipkart and an overall experience of 5-7 years.
- Should have worked in at least one top Global FMCG or Consumer goods company.
- Must have been part of Ecom customer JBP planning and closure.
- The Ecom experience is a must have criteria.
