Principal Accountabilities
- Understand overall Business/HR strategy and develop India specific HR plan. Advise business leaders in building sustainable organizational structures, retention strategies and workforce planning that aligns with business strategy.
- Leads the employee life cycle onboarding to retire.
- Leads & Implements the Talent Management, career planning, critical talent succession planning, learning, skills assessment and development, leadership development and performance management strategies across organization to Improve organizational effectiveness.
- Coach management to positively influence team development and organizational effectiveness
- Overall responsible for building the right culture to attract, grow and retain the best talent.
- Work with senior management to develop and implement HR solutions.
- Would also be responsible for employee relations, grievance handling & management, attrition analysis & control and employee communication.
- Support and advise the Business Heads to ensure that the employees are happy and the talent need for the current and future is taken care.
- Build talent and leadership pipeline. Act as coach, mentor to managers to be better people managers.
- Appropriately deal with disciplinary / misconduct / harassment cases and take the necessary action in lines with the organization policy.
- Ensure that the HR department is fully compliant to the Risk & Compliance requirements and other audit requirements.
- Work with senior management to develop and implement HR solutions.
- Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
- Manage intracompany transfers.
- Work with line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
- Collaborate with others to assess, create and implement solutions for the business program.
- Provides a wide range of human resource services to an assigned business unit in support of the unit's business objectives, strategic goals, and human resource initiatives.
- Ensure correct data is maintain and various MIS are generated for effective business decisions.
Skills :
- Incumbent should have proven work experience as a HR Director or similar role (managing HR for 3000 + people) in IT services organization.
- Experience in strategic planning and implementation
- Deep knowledge of all HR functions.
- Ability to use metrics and analytics.
- Knowledge of local and international labor law
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (workday preferred)
- Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities
- Dynamic, often ambiguous, fast-paced environments that require the ability to anticipate, respond and resolve escalated operating challenges.
- Problem solver, with strong analytical skills, passion for data integrity and forward thinking
- Sense of Urgency in problem solving.
