Head - Direct Taxation - FMCG - CA (12-14 yrs)
Executive Hiring is looking for a Head of Tax for a Large FMCG, based in Mumbai.
CA (Rank Holder) with 12-14 years of work experience in the field of Direct Taxation including Transfer Pricing in a Large FMCG/ Large MNC Audit Firms at the leadership level where she / he heads the Direct Taxation, is mandatory.
KRA's :
- All direct tax compliance matters for the listed entity.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance and meeting global tax compliance.
- This also encompasses ownership of tax accounting and periodic management reporting to group tax.
- Ensuring seamless integration of all direct tax matters in regard to M&A.
- Documenting and simplifying core processes and making decisions on automation and outsourcing.
- Driving Tax technology in areas of compliance, analytics and risk management.
- This role will involve local tax planning initiatives to optimise the organisations direct tax position, driving strategy for audit and controversy to mitigate balance sheet risk and making informed decisions on tax positions.
- This role involves pro-actively studying relevant jurisprudence and changes in law such as direct tax code and preparing customized representations and advocating change via industry bodies.
- Liaison with local statutory auditors for tax accounts/ disclosure finalization.
- Providing inputs to Investor Relation team and preparing management updates for reporting direct tax matters to the company's audit committee.
