Head - Digital Transformation (8-15 yrs)
Job Function
- Design, refine and execute the overall digital strategy in-line with strategic priorities. Strategic emphasis is on establishing digital platforms with clear and measurable outcomes
- Lead and end-to-end project manage key digital health initiatives India
- Prioritizing ideas based on various internal and external discussions
- Get key sponsor alignment of digital strategy
- Lead projects from ideation, insighting, concept, business case creation and seeking approval from sponsor group
- Manage implementation governance by collaborating with IT to delivery projects in planned timelines and budget
- Ensure that implemented initiatives reach targeted outcomes / benefits; continually refine as necessary
- Projects would need working with local and global teams across IT and various business functions (Commercial, Corporate Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Public affairs etc.)
- Identify and propagate best practices across functions or teams in India
- Based on the business strategy, develop and maintain the India Digital (a live list of initiatives along with impact). Lead India's digital review boards and play a role in digital review boards.
- Be internal domain expert on digital by staying on top of latest and greatest in Digital health and building organizational knowledge on the same
- Actively engage India leadership and commercial team, including VP, India, Affiliate GMs to ensure the business is well supported through digital initiatives
Minimum Education
- Engineering degree (MBA preferred but not a must) from a reputed Indian / International institute
Minimum Experience/Training Required
- 8-15 years of total experience across the following:
Digital platform buildout / project management experience with in-market success with customers
Consulting experience with exposure to healthcare and digital practices
Start-up experience in the technology space with personal deliverables around digital solutions
- Experience of having directly done primary consumer research, insights generation, and problem solving
- Experience (not just knowledge) with design thinking approach to create innovative digital solutions
- Strong people management experience of managing small team of high performers
- Demonstrated ability to get into details and get hands-on on projects as required
- Experience with sharp communication, both verbal and written, including storylining, document creation and synthesis
