Job Title : Head of D&T for India and Middle East for Advisory Services

Business Unit : Digital & Technology

Reports To : Global Advisory Digital & Technology

Location : Gurugram

JOB SUMMARY :

The role of Head of Digital & Technology, is a crucial interface between the business and the Global Advisory Digital & Technology organisation. You are the voice of the business into Advisory Digital & Tech and the voice of Digital & Tech into the business. You will collaborate closely with the division business leadership and business lines to understand their technology enablement needs; then working in a connected fashion with the wider Digital & Tech organization you will own the technology solutions for the geography, focused on enabling digital product lines, digital sales revenue, and digital strategy for the business.

This is a multifaceted role, at times you will be responsible for collaborating with the Digital & Tech Product Managers on the market & client deployment or upgrade of a technology product, other times you will be accountable for the delivery of innovative solutions to meet unique business demands. All of this whilst being the central point of contact for the business, ensuring fiscal governance, effective communication, managing risk and maintaining a high quality of service. This position will be accountable for developing and driving key partnerships in the region amongst startups, tech firms, and local governments to support the company's digital initiatives.

Ultimately this role is about executing Digital Strategy, driving digital revenue, digital excellence and being connected with the Digital & Tech ecosystem and enabling the division to grow through the application of world-class technologies, which are scalable, secure and cost-effective.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with the division leadership and business lines to understand their business, the economic environment, the business growth drivers, challenges and risks

- Support Business partners in building and maintaining strong digital sales pipeline for the company's prop-tech platforms

- Collaborate with the business and wider Digital & Tech organization to lead the digital strategy execution

- Build a connected digital & Tech roadmap, articulate it and lead the execution of the journey

- Be the voice of the business into Digital & Tech and the voice of Digital & Tech into the Business

- Work as the key stakeholder for escalations into the Infrastructure and Operations division; vendor/client relationship no direct management responsibility for infrastructure and operations

- Lead the Digital & Tech team with all associated responsibilities as a leader

- Develop and foster high performing and empowered team culture

- Proactively provide thought leadership to business leaders

- Provide an authoritative and balanced assessment of technology solutions to business challenges

- Proactively maintain and build your technical knowledge base and network

- Ability to see the big picture but execute at the micro-level, when required

- Strong focus on the end-user experience and business enablement

- Superior communication skills with the ability to talk about both technology and business

- Excellent Change Management skills

- Strong understanding of technology development lifecycles

- Ability to lead a technology team

- Ability to work with minimal supervision whilst remaining connected to the wider Digital & Tech organization

- Active engagement in the Digital & Technology community

- Strong technical knowledge and network

Prior Experience :

- Minimum experience of 10 years working in technology

- Prior experience of working in a real estate industry

- Prior experience of communicating, working and collaborating at a board level

- Prior experience of working at a national level

- Prior experience of working for a multinational organization

- Prior experience of living overseas preferable
