Job Description:

Context:


- This role would be responsible for ongoing improvement of processes and corresponding digitization for operations for Europe Region.


- This role would also be responsible to enable the thinking on Digital transformation, disruptive digital business models and advanced analytics for strategic insights

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the - Digital Transformation- vision to create differentiated services in the market.

2. Drive advanced analytics to find new insights for differentiation and competitive advantage

3. Interact with BU head and functional heads in the BU to seek inputs on new initiatives in alignment with the business strategy and improvements over existing systems and processes;

4. Design, conceptualize and initiate Digital transformation projects to disrupt, transform or simplify business processes;

5. Spearhead all Digital & Process Excellence initiatives in the area of Commercial operations, Quality, CRM, Track and Trace, Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance

6. Constantly looks for process and productivity improvement opportunities in the area of Commercial Management, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Supply chain, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory processes

7. Ensure scope of implementation for new projects are in line with expected business outcomes. Ensure detailing of the as-is business processes and expected process improvement; review project plans create by project managers; monitor project progress (daily for critical projects and weekly for all other projects) against project plans

8. Identify best digital practices from within and external companies and industries; ensure sharing of knowledge on the same among employees; easy access to information available inside and outside the company;

9. Identify key vendors for different types of products, software solutions and services; monitor vendor performance against defined Service Level Agreements; maintain regular interactions with vendors in case of new products and projects; ensure timely payments are made and other contractual obligations towards the partner are met

10. Prepare Program budget and annual operations budgets; provide approvals for all spends( hardware, software, project and maintenance services ) in the BU; review and approve project-level budgets prepared by project teams

11. Develop a scorecard for the team based on business goals; monitor performance against the scorecard; review project plans prepared by project managers; present monthly performance reports to Management highlighting projects taken up, progress, benefits realised, etc

12. Conduct goal setting, performance appraisals and mentoring/coaching for own team members; collaborate with HR in manpower planning, recruitment activities and identifying training
