Head - Digital Platforms - Digital Transformation Tech - FinTech (15-18 yrs)
Our client is a Ghana based well established tech company that works with clients on their digital transformation journeys. They are looking for a Head of Digital Platforms, whose mission will be to lead and oversee the strategic direction, development, and optimization of their digital platforms. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, enhancing user experiences, and maximizing business opportunities through the effective management of the company's digital assets. Their focus will be on harnessing the full potential of cutting-edge technologies to deliver seamless, innovative, and scalable solutions that elevate the company's online presence and customer engagement.
- Lead the development and launch of digital products and services within the ecosystem, working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Implementation of innovative digital technologies, such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, and data analytics, to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and drive business growth.
- Insights from data: Leverage the power of data analytics and business intelligence to gain insights into customer behaviour, market trends, and operational performance. Utilize these insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Oversee digital marketing strategies and initiatives to increase the visibility, reach, and impact of the financial ecosystem. Utilize digital channels to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement.
- Compliance with regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data privacy standards within the digital ecosystem by implementing robust security measures and risk management protocols.
- Develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, fintech startups, and other industry players to leverage external expertise, foster innovation, and accelerate digital transformation.
- Change management: Promote organizational cultural change and a digital-first mindset by championing agility, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and impact of digital initiatives. Report on progress to senior management on a regular basis, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Customer experience: Drive innovation, identify digital opportunities, and create a digital transformation roadmap and promote a customer-centric approach by leveraging digital technologies to improve user experiences across all touchpoints
- BA in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is required
- MBA is preferred
- At least 15 years of experience in digital transformation, digital strategy, or a related leadership role in the financial services industry is required.
- Experience in fintech or digital banking is a plus.
- Deep understanding of digital technologies such as mobile apps, web platforms, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and emerging fintech solutions.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of creating and implementing successful digital strategies, driving innovation, and transforming business models to meet changing customer needs.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A strong focus on providing exceptional customer experiences through digital channels, as well as a thorough understanding of user behaviour, preferences, and expectations.
- Technology Leadership: Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, lead technology implementation projects, and navigate complex technical landscapes.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Knowledge of how to use data analytics and business intelligence tools to make data-informed decisions and improve continuously.
- Experience leading cultural change and driving digital adoption within organizations, as well as the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels, is required for change management.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders such as senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
