Head - Digital Marketing - Job Description
Head - Digital Marketing is responsible for the strategy, execution, analysis, and on-going optimization of our online marketing programs. The position supports the eCommerce business - driving qualified traffic to our website and affiliated sites - but also supports overall digital marketing efforts designed to drive the overall business and brand.
Responsibilities:
You will work directly with Head - Marketing to design the overall digital marketing ecosystem to support our eCommerce and overall brand/business goals which will include:
- Program Strategy
- Prioritization of initiatives (from on-going improvement of existing programs, to roll out of new)
- KPI's by program, and overall effectiveness
- External partner relationships
- Internal staffing
- Internal toolset (sw required)
- Define daily/weekly/monthly reporting suite
- Manage and provide day to day supervision of agencies (and internal staff) handling online marketing programs such has Paid search, PLA's and display ads
- Manage and provide day to day supervision of eCommerce and online marketing reporting/analytics
- Leverage in-depth understanding of online marketing landscape to develop informed POV's on - Affiliate Marketing, Display advertising, CSE- s, Mobile display, Paid Social and others
- Primary liaison for the following initiatives - email marketing and any/all cross-channel brand marketing campaigns/initiatives
- Tight coordination with Front-end Operations team in Pleasanton, CA - ensuring seamless execution of any/all site-side updates to support online marketing and analytics initiatives
- Lead, train, hire, and develop online marketing team
- Work closely with merchant team to develop merchandise promotions, sales, and other retail events that drive qualified traffic and increase sales
- Develop and deliver insightful presentations to effectively communicate strategies and tactics to management team
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- 10+ years Online Marketing experience with 3+ years in an Online Marketing management role
- Client-side Retail experience a must
- Hands-on expertise managing Paid Search, Email, SEO, Affiliate, Display, Mobile, and Social campaigns a must
- Management within a multi-brand/site portfolio a plus
- Management of International eCommerce initiatives a plus
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel and Knowledge of PowerPoint, Access and MS Outlook
- Strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
