Job Title : Online and Digital Marketing Manager

Organisation : Marketing

Department/Unit : Marketing

Location : Gurgaon

Main purpose of the role : Responsible for development and implementation of the Digital and Online Marketing strategy.

Reporting and other significant organisational relationships :

Reporting Relationship :

- This position reports to the Marketing Head

Team : At present there is no reporting structure to this position but will build a core digital marketing team.

Peers : The position works very closely with the Home and Consumer Segment Marketing Managers as well as Trade Marketing Managers.

The position also works closely with Market Research Manager and Product Managers.

Key areas of accountability and Key Performance Indicators :

- Work with the Marketing Team to plan, execute and evaluate the eCommerce marketing activities including online retail advertising and promotions.

- Work with our search agency partner to develop and execute search marketing campaigns,

- Deliver an excellent brand experience by improving the quality level of the local integrated online presence and ensure a consistent approach to country websites, campaigns, online sales and external online activities.

- Participate in the loop team to ensure digital touchpoints are considered and supported in the activation Campaigns.

- Supports the development and execution of digital strategy, by translating global corporate/sector strategy into a competitive local organizational blueprint and action plan.

- Implement, interpret and analyze critical online KPIs (NPS, UGCR, WSR, Traffic) and take action in order to meet country/cluster targets for performance improvement.

- Monitor, review and report on digital and e-commerce marketing activities and results to optimize performance and ROI.

- Analyze online consumer research, online retail analytics and competitor information to identify trends and opportunities in the digital and e-commerce landscape.

- Monitor online product detail pages to ensure products and brands are presented in a quality and consistent manner on our retailer sites.

- Monitor industry best practices. Conduct competitive reviews online to gather insights.

- Support the Marketing team in the production, media planning and execution of high-quality digital marketing activities.

- Supports the development and execution of digital strategy, by translating global corporate/sector strategy into a competitive local organizational blueprint and action plan.

- Team up with other functions to facilitate online shopper marketing activities

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

Education Qualification :

- Bachelor in Science/ Engineering/ Commerce/ Arts

- Master in Business Administration in Marketing/ General Management (preferred)

Work Experience :

Years of Experience : 8-10 years relevant experience

Area of Experience : Solid experience in digital marketing environment but also proven track record in traditional Business Management and Marketing

Key Skills/Competencies :

- An incumbent that lives and breathes integrated digital marketing and has a proven passion for evangelizing the consumer/customer experience in a connected environment.

- High energy, creative and committed to building key relationships to positively influence business results.

- Good digital analytical skills, translate into action.

- Proven success in managing agency partnerships, as well as successfully managing internal and external stakeholders; mobilizing a diverse virtual team.

- Proficiency with content management systems, web analytics, search, blogs, and other online tools.

- Excellent project management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to lead and work in cross-functional teams

- Strategic thinking, problem analysis and problem-solving

- Creativity and entrepreneurship

Key Challenges& Complexity :

- In conjunction with the Marketing Team, develop and execute best-in-class digital and e-commerce marketing programs and content for the Brand. Effectively manage the digital marketing, digital product content and online promotional activities for the Brand, ensuring consistency and quality through the digital consumer decision journey.

- You will plan and activate local digital brand communications and campaigns in collaboration with the local marketing teams and implement a consistent approach to measuring and tracking our online brand performance.

- You need to define and implement digital marketing strategy in the market. You will connect the dots across the various local businesses, defining a consistent online brand experience and translating the Global digital marketing strategy to the local context.

- You will build our digital marketing capabilities, as well as manage and organize content and communities.
