Position: Head of Digital Marketing (E-Commerce)
Location : Gurgaon
Reporting to Head of eComm Business
Educational Qualifications :
- MBA (Marketing)
Prior Work Experience :
- Proven experience of 10-12 years in digital marketing arena
- Prior experience for departmental profitability and long-term business planning to achieve success targets
Job Purpose :
- To manage the brand marketing strategy for e-commerce channel and enhance online customer experience.
Job Description : Specific Accountabilities / Deliverables
Financial :
- Develop and execute the business plan for the brand
- Create annual digital marketing plan across owned, paid and earned channels, aligned with the overall marketing calendar
- Drive sales forecasting, seasonal estimates, marketing budgets and OTB's.
- Management of the advertising and promotional budget including allocation across expense heads
- Drive improvement in market share.
Customer :
- Drive initiatives to enhance online customer experience
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Effectively coordinate with offline Marketing team/agencies/Customer Loyalty team for integrated marketing calendar and campaigns
- Ability to understand, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Experience liaising with Digital Agencies, ensuring that any service level agreements are met
- Work closely with creative agencies and periodically assess their performance.
- Develop partnerships with affiliate channel partners (bloggers, PR, related websites, co-branding opportunities etc.)
Internal Business Processes :
- Continuous improvements to the website and digital systems to enhance customers- digital journey
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing database, email, social media, SEM and/or display advertising campaigns
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Experience with Search engine Optimization/Marketing and pay per click campaigns
- Online planning & buying across all digital channels including mobile, PPC and social media
- Manage and develop tools and dashboards for monitoring and evaluation of performance and business health
- Partner with social media, content, communication, analytics and other marketing teams
Innovation/HR :
- Drive analysis of trends and patterns and develop consumer insights
- Manage team of 3-4 managers
