Design Head - Men's Wear Brand - Mumbai
Role & Responsibilities -
- Establish creative strategy, budgets & schedules for all design projects. Lead the brand campaign shoots, tradeshow shoots and styling projects.
- Manage Design Team - Ensure the design team, works closely with the Artisans so that they create samples as per the theme selected for specific collections.
- Active involvement in conceptualizing, designing, range finalization & all the activities that go into making/launching a range.
- Expertise in Vendor Management/Identification based on Market Visits
- Skilled in conceptualizing trend presentations every season based on the forecast analysis and the sell through data.
- Build range architectures based on last season's offering and conduct analysis to develop price sensitive range.
- Efficient in conducting Market Analysis and Trend Forecasts- proposing new product lines as per market needs and requirement.
- Participate in Client Meetings / Review Client Feedback/ Meeting business goals and finding solutions to pain points whilst simultaneously adhering to the company branding and marketing strategies.
- Contribute to product concepts development & collaborate with Buying and Sourcing teams for effective design development
- Fabric/print/surface design follow up and approvals
- Participate and lead new business initiatives (product launch, Visibility improvement, Consideration improvement, Competition benchmarking, Drop/ Style performance etc.)
